PRIVACY POLICY
LTFD is sensitive to privacy issues on the Internet. This is our policy regarding the protection and dissemination of information that we gather online. By using this site, you are consenting to the practices described in this policy. Please review this policy carefully.
Information We Collect
Information Collected Upon Registration
LTFD collects a variety of different information, depending on how you use our site. First, LTFD collects information when you register at our site. For example, our registration form requires you to give us your name, email address and [list all required information] in addition we may request additional voluntary information. You may always choose not to provide such voluntary information to us. In addition, we may periodically conduct customer surveys. We encourage our customers to participate in these surveys because they provide us with important information that helps us to understand the visitors to our site and to improve the types of services we offer and how we provide them to you. Participation in our customer surveys is voluntary. We take the information we receive from individuals responding to our surveys and combine (or aggregate) it with the responses of other customers to create broader, generic responses to the survey questions (such as gender, age, residence, hobbies, education, employment, industry sector, or other demographic information). We then use the aggregated information to improve the quality of our services to you, and to develop new services and products. This aggregated, non-personally identifying information may be shared with third parties.
Information Collected Through Our Web Site
LTFD also collect standard information when you visit our Web site. For example, we collect your IP address, which is a number that can be used to identify your location and Internet service provider. We use a technology called "cookies" to provide you with tailored information. A cookie is an element of data that a Web site can send to your browser which can then be stored on your system. This element of data is a piece of text, not a program. This cookie can identify your computer to us and may be correlated with identity information in our log files when you visit our site. We can only access the information from a cookie sent by our site. We cannot access other cookies sent by other Web sites or the information contained therein. Additionally, we cannot lean your email address or other information about you through the use of a cookie. The only way we could learn such information is if you specifically submit the information to us, for example, through registration.
Information Collected Through Email
We also collect information when we send and receive emails. For example, when we send emails to our registered users, we may provide a URL link to the LTFD site that contains an alphanumeric identifier, which allows us to identify the person to whom we sent the email so that we can personalize our content for that individual. We may also use pixel tags, or tiny graphic files not visible to the human eye, in our HTML-encoded email messages, to gather information about the emails we send to our users. When such a message is opened in an HTML-capable email program, the recipient’s computer will access our server to retrieve the pixel tag file, allowing us to record and store, along with your email address, the date and time the recipient viewed the email, the fact that the recipient's email program is capable of receiving HTML-encoded email, and other standard logging information. The pixel tag also may see or read cookies.

In these cases, these companies or individuals will have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.
LTFD may also retain third-party advertising companies to place banner ads on our site and in email communications sent to our users. LTFD may correlate your information with information held by the advertising company to target ads to LTFD users most likely to be interested in them, which we believe improves the users’ experience and the effectiveness of the advertisements. The advertising company also may read or set cookies, track which ads you have viewed, or collect other information about you. [In these cases, you will be offered an opportunity to limit access to your information.] Additionally, if a third party acquires LTFD, or substantially all of its assets, your information may be one of the assets transferred to the third party.
